Introduction

These terms of use (the "Terms") apply to your access and use of our competitor-monitoring service (the "Service") provided by Bright Apex, registered in the Netherlands with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 99295466 and VAT identification number NL005378623B25 ("Bright Apex", "we", "us", or "our"), operating as "Competiflow".

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. We will only use your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available on our website. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service.

Restrictions

You agree not to (a) access the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party's use of the Service; or (b) use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Service Description

Competiflow is a competitor-monitoring service. You configure competitors and the public pages you want to watch, and on your behalf we fetch those pages on a schedule, detect what changed, and notify you. The Service includes:

  • Competitor and monitor management (add competitors, choose which pages to watch and how often)
  • Scheduled checks that fetch each monitored public page and capture a snapshot
  • Structured change detection with before/after evidence and severity
  • Optional SEO enrichment of detected changes (subject to your plan)
  • AI-generated interpretation, summaries, and workspace overviews
  • A change feed and consolidated email digests

We fetch only publicly accessible pages. The Service does not sign in to, or access private or authenticated areas of, third-party websites on your behalf.

Subscription Plans and Limits

Your use of the Service is subject to the limits of your subscription plan. The Service is metered in checks, where one check run against one monitored page uses one check. Plan limits and capabilities include:

  • A monthly allowance of checks included per billing period
  • A maximum number of monitors you can run
  • The fastest check cadence available to you
  • Capability gates such as SEO enrichment and residential proxies, which are enabled on higher tiers

A free trial is available with a limited allowance of checks (one-time, non-recurring). No credit card is required for the free trial.

We reserve the right to modify plan limits at any time.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, and without notice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that it will be error-free.

We do not warrant that every check will complete successfully, that all monitored pages will be accessible, or that every change will be detected or interpreted correctly. Third-party websites may block, rate-limit, or restrict automated access at their discretion, which can cause checks to fail or miss changes.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party subprocessors, including Browserbeam (page reads), OpenAI (change interpretation), DataForSEO (SEO enrichment), Paddle (payment processing), Postmark (email delivery), and infrastructure providers (for hosting and databases). These are described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of these third-party services.

Payment and Refunds

Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance. All payments are processed through Paddle, our payment processor. Your credit card information is not stored on our servers.

Refunds are available within 30 days of your initial purchase. To request a refund, please contact us at hello@competiflow.com.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post any changes on this page and encourage you to review the Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Service after any changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
